My thoughts:
The title of The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse books caught my attention right away because my daughter loves books full of adventures so I knew she would probably like this one. All the characters are likable but I loved Emily because she reminds me of my daughter while she plays with her toys like she really believes they are talking. The illustrations look like they were kind of drawn right on the page instead of printed out on the page, they are beautiful.
While reading this book we (mostly me) had a lot of questions like how does PJ know there is 6 people in Emily's family when we have only heard of Emily, her parents, and her sister? After talking about it we came up with the answer that PJ had already seen the whole family that's why he knew there was 6 of them we were just not told this at the beginning of the story. And can everyone hear PJ talking (yes they can) or is it only in Emily's imagination? We enjoyed reading about PJ's adventures in Canada with Emily and her family. I give this book 5 stars.
Book Description for The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse in Queensland (BOOK TWO):

Come join PJ on this, his second adventure, along the coast of Queensland, as he snorkels at the Great Barrier Reef, chats with a Loggerhead turtle in the midst of a great undertaking, and explores the tropical rainforest- until he has to be rescued by one of the local friendly wildlife.
My thoughts:
I really like the family in The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse books. Emily is always telling PJ Mouse how funny he is and I agree. PJ Mouse is adorable, he says and thinks some funny things. The illustrations are all about PJ Mouse and they are so so beautiful! My favorite thing about these travel adventure books is that we get to learn a little about/travel to different places we have never seen for ourselves. I love that The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse books are based on the author's family actual travels with their stuffed mouse toy. What a lucky family! They make me want to pack some things and take my kids on our own adventures. These books give you a lot to talk about with your children (and ideas of places to visit). Loved it! I give this book 5 stars.
