Reading Kingdom Review

Product Description
Reading Kingdom is an award-winning online program that teaches children 4-10 to read and write to a 3rd grade level. The program is based on the work of Dr. Marion Blank from Columbia University, one of the world's top experts on reading and language development. It uses her patented and research based "6-SIM" (Six Skill Integrated Method) technique that yields incredible results.

My Opinion
I have a 5 year old daughter and she will be starting Kindergarten this year so I want to prepare her for school as much as possible. When I heard of Reading Kingdom, a reading and writing program for children 4-10 years, I thought maybe it would help my daughter. When my daughter first started this reading and writing program she did not like it at all. I think it was just to fast and confusing to her. I wanted to help her but I knew she had to do it on her own if I want her to learn. This reading program was very frustrating to both of us in the beginning. It seemed like my daughter just wouldn't get it but I insisted that she keep trying and now about a month later I see a big improvement. My daughter has only completed 19% of the program but every time she uses it it gets easier for her and she gets less frustrated so she enjoys it more. The pictures are really fun also. I think that Reading Kingdom is a great program to learn how to read but it can also be a little difficult for the younger children. The only thing I think it needs is a little more options of things to do or a few different fun games in between each lesson so the younger ones don't get bored. Kids just want to have fun! I really like the Reading Kingdom and since I see that my daughter is learning letters a little at a time I can say that I do recommend it.
